From the amazing series in which Hal Jordan was the Spectre. This is my favourite run of the character. Oh, and he makes an appearance in Peter David’s fantastic series Young Justice.

I have said that I love the character the Spectre, and this is from my favorite of his series. Written by the genius J. M. DeMatteis with the art by Ryan Sook, this series masterfully redefined the character of the Spectre from the wrathful Spirit of Vengeance to kind Spirit of Redemption. Also, Hal Jordan was now the Spectre, after he had died to save the Earth.
Fun Fact: The Spectre was originally created by Jerry Siegel, one of the creators of Superman.

The Spectre is one of my favorite characters. Ostrander has a true understanding of the character, and his run was definitely great.
